Principal Investigator (PI) basics course

The sponsor and Chief Investigator have responsibility for the study from the research idea and protocol design through to the final data analysis, publication and introduction of change based on the research outcomes. This training focusses on the role of the PI at a research site, which includes: feasibility and research site set up, conduct of the research study at the research site (recruitment, research activities outlined in the protocol, sending data to the sponsor), long term follow up of research participants and study close at the research site.
