St Mary’s is the major acute hospital for north west London. The hospital provides care across a wide range of specialties and runs one of four major trauma centres in London. It is also a quaternary referral centre for complex vascular surgery and has a CQC outstanding rated Obstetric unit. St Mary’s has a long history of innovation and it was the where Sir Alexander Fleming discovered Penicillin.
